Membership Information

Membership in the Metro New York Chapter is separate from membership in the national 7x24 Exchange. However, as evidenced by our membership dues structure, we strongly recommend and encourage that you belong to both the national and local chapters to recieve the full benefit of participation in the 7x24 Exchange. This page will help you become a member of the Metro New York Chapter.

There are 4 basic types of memberships:

Corporate End-Users
Consultants
Students/Academics
Vendors

Each membership includes up to 5 individuals per year.

There are two dues structures for local chapter membership- Companies that are National 7x24 Exchange Members and Companies that are Not National members. The cost of memberships are as follows:

User/Operator

Companies using technology systems or services to support management, customer, employee, production or distribution needs

National member... $100
Non-national member... $150

Consultants

Companies that advise user or vendor organizations on uptime issues.

National member... $250
Non-national member... $300

Students/Academics

Those who study or educate in the area of IT, Telecom, Electrical and Or Mechanical engineering.

Free

Vendor

Companies that sell uninterruptible products or services.

Note: In order to qualify for vendor membership, each vendor must have ten (10) User/Operator companies submit a membership application and join the Chapter.
